Buying & Selling

We seek to take the strain out of buying and selling at auction whether you're a 'first-timer' or an experienced dealer. Our simple pricing structure ensures we keep your costs to a minimum with seller's commission fixed at 10% + VAT and buyer's commission fixed at 15% + VAT. We do not charge a lotting fee, but for items valued at under £30 we ask for a deposit against collection in the event that it does not sell: it costs us money to dispose of unsold items.

Online bidding is available via so you can take part in our auctions from the comfort of your favourite armchair at home, but we also operate as a traditional saleroom and you are welcome to attend and bid in person: please register when you arrive on sale-day and you will be given a bidder number. We also have an on-site café located in the bus at the front of the premises where you can buy hot & cold drinks, snacks and meals. Our saleroom is fully accessible to those with limited mobility, although the café is not: we would be pleased to assist if you require something from the café though.

Viewing days are open to the general public and are the Friday and Saturday before auction day. Trade viewing for dealers is available from 12 noon on Thursday before auction day.

Items for auction are accepted up until close of business on the Tuesday before auction day.
